  1. AMAZON MARKETPLACE DATA PROTECTION & SECURITY POLICY

Scope and Compliance

This section governs the treatment, receipt, storage, usage, transfer, and secure disposition of all data accessed, retrieved, or managed through Amazon Marketplace tools and APIs (including Amazon Seller Central and the Solution Provider Portal).

As an authorized agency partner, ZonSupport implements administrative, physical, and technical safeguards that fully conform to Amazon’s strict Data Protection Policy (DPP) and Acceptable Use Policy.

Data Retention and Secure Deletion (30-Day Rule)

Strict PII Redaction: In compliance with Amazon mandates, all Personally Identifiable Information (PII) regarding Amazon Buyers (including but not limited to Buyer Names, Shipping Addresses, Phone Numbers, and Zip Codes) is retained for no longer than 30 days after order delivery.

Limited Purpose: Data is held exclusively to fulfill orders, calculate and remit taxes, generate legally required tax invoices, or meet urgent legal/regulatory requirements.

Post-30-Day Disposal: Following the 30-day fulfillment window, all buyer PII is permanently and irreversibly destroyed, sanitized, or masked.

Regulatory Archiving (“Cold Storage”): If local tax or regulatory compliance mandates longer archival retention, the data is held purely in an offline, “cold” encrypted backup format completely isolated from everyday transactional use.

Identity and Access Control Governance

Individual Credentials: Every contractor and employee at ZonSupport is assigned a unique, individually identifiable login credential to access client systems via the Solution Provider Portal.

Shared Access Prohibition: Under no circumstances does our agency create, distribute, or operate using generic, default, or shared master account credentials.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Mandatory MFA is strictly enforced across all active user accounts and corporate endpoints accessing Amazon customer data.

Access Reviews: Privilege mapping is audited on a rolling monthly basis to immediately revoke credentials for offboarded staff or personnel whose active duties no longer require access to Amazon information.

Encryption Protocols

Data in Transit: All connections, data streams, and remote interactions with Amazon systems are strictly protected utilizing HTTPS and TLS 1.2 or higher protocols.

Data at Rest: Any temporary operational storage or databases holding Amazon marketplace variables utilize robust industry-standard cryptographic keys (e.g., AES-256 block encryption) to ensure zero unprotected exposure.

Data Sharing and Incidents

Third-Party Restrictions: We do not trade, sell, lease, or distribute Amazon Information to outside platforms or marketing lists. Data elements are shared exclusively with authorized integrated logistics parties (e.g., 3PL networks, shipping carriers) solely to finalize client-requested fulfillment actions.

Vulnerability & Incident Response: ZonSupport maintains an active, public-facing mechanism for reporting data vulnerabilities. In the event of a suspected security event or unauthorized exposure of data elements, our emergency framework dictates formal escalation and notification to Amazon Security (security@amazon.com) within 24 hours of confirmation.
