• Amazon Tracks Your Online Presence

    Did you know…

Amazon technology is using AI that tracks information about your product outside the Amazon platform.

If your website has non-compliant content, this can result in a listing suspension.

    Here’s what happened 👇

A seller received a compliance warning from Amazon.

Why? Because their website had a claim that Amazon considers non-compliant.

The issue wasn’t on their listing; it was on their brand website.

Amazon’s new AI systems flagged a prohibited claim on their website and issued a warning saying that Amazon would shut close their listing due to non-compliant content on their website.

This was not a manual review.

It was flagged by Amazon’s automated AI system, which now actively scans:

    ⤷ Your website content

⤷ Other marketplaces where your product is listed

⤷ Product images (using AI-based text recognition)

⤷ Compliance with restricted content policies

    ⤷ Pricing

Amazon’s algorithm is significantly more advanced than many of us thought possible.

    This screenshot is proof!

It is critical that you maintain full compliance across every channel that you are selling on. Just because you can say anything you like on your brand website is no defense to an Amazon suspension.

If you’re an Amazon seller who sells across multiple platforms, we strongly recommend you align your compliance with the most strict which is Amazon.

Shout out to Demian Lazurko from My Real Profit for alerting so many sellers to this current reality.

As always, ask us anything. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll know someone who does!
