• Contacting Lowstar Reviewers

By ZonSupport | Posted on June 26, 2021| Blog

Amazon just opened the door to let you contact lowstar reviewers. Wow!

The catch is that you have to be enrolled in Brand Registry which is yet another reason for you to get onto Trademarking your brand if you have not already.

Here’s how they have positioned this:

    “…We listened to your feedback!

We’ve been tracking feedback from brands related to the Customer Reviews experience. We heard that you love having a way to see all your reviews in one place and that it is nice to be able to filter by star rating and time period. You also shared your frustrations over not being able to directly engage with your customers who left critical reviews.

We’re now offering a brand-only benefit that allows you to reach out to buyers who purchased your branded product directly from you, who left critical (1-3 star reviews) via templated emails that allow you to communicate with buyers via buyer-seller messaging.

We believe this will build brand trust and help establish stronger relationships between you and your customers…”

Head into your Brands Menu and select Customer Reviews and simply follow the prompts.

Yes, there are only templated emails so you can’t say anything you like but just roll with the process. There are two templates you can use:

Courtesy Refund Offer: This has been around for a while as an option for contacting buyers (not reviewers) but is not our pick for this job

Customer Review: This is perfect! I really like this sentence “…Your business is important to us so please contact us and we’ll work to resolve your issues”

Be sure you jump onto these the very second they land. We are finding a very good response rate in some of the niches we work in. The opportunity to engage with these unhappy customers is gold – you may also save a return in the process!

As always, ask us anything. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll know someone who does!
